In this fresh, subversive take on the found-footage horror genre from the makers of SPLICE and CUBE, a faceless voyeur's twisted manipulation of a young couple escalates into a deadly cat-and-mouse game, as seen from the perspective of hidden cameras he's concealed throughout their house. Prioritize:
The three stars are for the format, because this is somewhere “beyond” found-footage or docuhorror. I don’t think I ever saw a film composed entirely of secret recordings and wiretaps and I fully appreciate that “creativity”. Otherwise, it can’t be said that it’s in any way thrilling, scary or, heaven forbid, fun. ()
