English It’s sometimes referred to as The Deadly Game. This British wave of gritty detective thrillers from London and other British streets didn't particularly impress me. There are quite a few of them, and one feels like they're all quite similar, just with slightly different actors. The problem with this film is that it's not very gritty, not very smart, and certainly not entertaining at all. It's nice that not everyone is trying to mimic Ritchie's style, but when the story itself lacks substance, it just ends up being boring. ()
