Three individuals each receive an anonymous, unmarked video camera and a horrific ultimatum to continue filming...or die. Experience the terror through the eyes of these unsuspecting victims, with a chain of found-footage events so real and absolutely dreadful, you'll have to watch it again to believe it. At times, it might seem like it could be an interesting film and that there are some ideas hidden behind its crazy formal aspects, but these are merely hints that never actually come to fruition. It’s another horror film that uses a handheld camera but doesn't produce the necessary effect. Unfortunately, I didn't expect anything else from it. ()
Delicious unwatchable shit with a funny clown in the central role. What a mess!! The film cost just over $50, I can't explain the cheap look any other way. For one thing, it's a cruel, boring martyrdom that has no chance to impress, and most importantly, Mockingbird mocks the found footage genre, because it couldn't get any worse. What Bryan Bertino, director of the decent The Strangers, was doing making Mockingbird I have no idea. ()
