English Another of Funès's classics that I love to return to so often. Although he plays probably the biggest grumbler from his portfolio, he is well supported here especially by the film wife Annie Girardot, a good subject and traditionally perfect music by Vladimir Cosma. ()

English Louis de Funès and Annie Girardot portray a seriously entertaining married couple whose daily bread was often an unhealthy degree of stubborn emotion. Both actors tackled their parts with verve and deliver many humorous scenes. However, I was most amused by the sequences with the pool table and the pull-up sash. I would certainly not be bored in such a lively and wild household, but at the same time I think would soon be ripe for a madhouse. A weaker four stars! ()

English Here, a great duo came together. Louis de Funès and Annie Girardot are great as a married couple, exactly the kind who could get into such antics. From a screenwriting standpoint, there's absolutely brilliant use of their movie house here. Sprinkling the flower bed is just a great idea. And we're still basically at the beginning. The film keeps building up and jumping from one idea to another. ()
