Season two started off great with an armed clash and a rift between brothers. I was ready to give the episode five stars. But then, the show slipped into melodrama during the monologue to the dead daughter, and the annoying family scene was the final straw. Despite these gripes, I couldn’t bring myself to give it a lower rating. ()
An emotional whirlwind at the end of the first episode. Big dilemmas and family disruption in a way we are not used to, for example, in the similarly tuned GoT. So sensation accomplished, even without any vehement sword swinging. ()
