Metallica Through The Never is a 3D feature film starring members of the iconic rock band and Dane DeHaan. DeHaan plays a young band crew member who is sent out on an urgent mission while the band is playing a rousing live set in front of a sold-out crowd and unexpectedly finds his world turned completely upside down. I haven't heard Metallica in quite a while, so I'm glad I could enjoy their awesome songs again. Metallica: Through the Never is essentially a concert film, but it's supplemented with a fairly simple narrative that carries the right energy. But what really grabs you is the music, showing that even around fifty, these gentlemen are not boring and still have plenty of power in them.
