Wayne looks back at the 1980 Purcell case, including possible evidence left behind at the crime scene, the Devil's Den – an outdoor hangout for local kids. As attention is drawn to two suspects – Brett Woodard, a solitary vet and trash collector, and Ted LaGrange, an ex-con with a penchant for children – the children's’ parents receive a cryptic note from an anonymous source. In the second episode, I really felt the absence of the intense tension that gripped us in the opening episode. It definitely impacted the overall atmosphere, which didn't quite hit the same high notes as before. Plus, the pace of the story seemed to slow down a bit, and human rights fighters had to suffer when watching that disgusting and unfair interrogation of a pedophile. ()
