English I consider Panna Rittikrai to be an average director of average martial arts films (The Protector 2, Ong-bak 2: The Beginning and Ong-bak 3: The Final Battle), but I consider his latest effort to be perhaps his most accomplished, even though it’s on a similar vein in terms of script and direction, but the fights here are very decent. I was especially impressed by the original opening where ten guys in a warehouse do tricks with a ball while knocking each other down and punching each other (how cool was that!). There is plenty of action throughout the film and it's also quite varied and, above all, brutal, shocking and with decent choreography. But logic doesn't play a role here, there are things happening in the film that defy all the laws of physics (I appreciate the work of the stuntmen). An Asian flick that is fortunately enjoyable, but I couldn't get past a few logic holes. I'm saving the higher rating for Hanuman. 65%. A fine one-off for fans of the genre. ()
