English A standard Franco & Rogen comedy, so, if you like their previous movies, you won’t be disappointed. At first, I was a bit put off by all the hype surrounding the movie. Having watched it, I must say that it was absolutely great. It had a great number of absolutely killer moments, be it Eminem's incredible cameo or James Franco’s amazing performance and his hilarious facial expressions. He was clearly enjoying the role of a total dumbass. There were also an incredible number of cultural references, especially to the current pop scene (Haters Gonna Hate), sarcastic remarks about American foreign policy, etc. In short, the authors managed to create a legend, hence the high rating, despite the fact that the movie had perhaps even greater potential. English "Grandpa got it from Stalin." - "In our country we pronounce it Stallone." I honestly didn't expect such a good comedy and I tip my hat to the filmmakers for not just riding the wave of poking fun at Kim Jong-un all the time (although of course that's what they're all about), but that in fact a lot of the good jokes are not about him. I'm also glad that it went pretty well without feces and the only body fluid used was blood (the finger biting amused me perhaps most of all). ()

English Another wildly over-the-top, talk-heavy comedy with Seth Rogen and his buddy James Franco. For me, it’s a solid three stars because the humor feels exactly the same as all their other films. I’ll be laughing one minute, then suddenly realize I’m bored for the next ten. That said, the concept is brilliant, I’ve got to give them that. ()

English I couldn’t care less about how it’s shot, or if there’s scatological humor, or how the film is affected by the interplay of light and shadow or whatnot. I just wanted to see something I could have a good laugh at, and I got exactly that. Granted, the jokes are far from sophisticated, I know what kind of humor to expect from Seth Rogen, but I sure laughed. Seth Rogen and James Franco have excellent chemistry together, it's fast-paced and it's fun! ()

English Very good, any intelligent person can tell that this is just a joke. Seth Rogen and James Franco are a perfect duo and here they prove it again. Great humour, a decent idea, great pace and especially the action and gory ending were very nice. The scene with the tiger was magical for me. This Is The End was crazier, but I had a great time here too. A solid 80%. One of the most controversial films ever. ()
