Plots(1)

Aningaaq, an Inuit fisherman camping on the ice over a frozen fjord, talks through a two way radio with a dying astronaut who is stranded in space, 500 kilometers above Earth. Even though he doesn't speak English and she doesn't speak Greenlandic, they manage to have a conversation about dogs, babies, life and death. (Warner Bros. US)

English A woman with a child appears in front of the camera only so that Sandra Bullock can hear the child crying from the other end of the transmitter. And it was supposed to be a single shot. However, it’s a pleasant little film whose message is nicely connected to Gravity. ()

English An interestingly conceived short that complements the excellently shot Gravity. Contrast an Eskimo man and his family at peace on Earth, while Sandra Bullock is on the edge of life and death in the infinite cosmos. However, it failed to impress me any more, I took it seriously more as a sort of add-on to an already pretty perfect whole that didn't need anything extra ()

English The whole time I thought it seemed familiar - that voice, like from Gravity, just from the other side. Well, of course. That's the way it is when you don't read anything about a movie ahead of time. Surprisingly, Aningaaq also has power from this other perspective. I was quite surprised by how well this misunderstanding works even the second time around. ()
