Similar films probably draw audiences, but even though this looks nice at first glance, it's actually just a cheaply made movie shot with a good camera. The rattling of snakes is one of the few elements here that doesn't fit. I enjoy movies with treasure hunts, mysteries, and so on, but here, everything is presented half-heartedly, tediously, and incredibly sparingly, that it simply failed to excite me even a bit. Perhaps only Alex Vega brought me some delight.
