There was some improvement. Bruce is clearly on the path to becoming Batman, and Nygma decisively ended his unfortunate romance. I also enjoyed the conversations between Jerome and everyone else. The creators threw in a few funny moments too: landlines working in a city without power and Jerome's shrapnel hitting a pole from all sides. Very funny!
