Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher

Superheroes in Japanese animation again. At first glance, it doesn't look very appealing, but on closer inspection, it's exactly that. Pseudo-spy, pseudo-complex, yet incredibly straightforward, and despite the presence of two interesting (title) characters, it's just a classic bore of good versus evil. But hey, superheroes sell, so similar unnecessary stories will continue to be made. (04/25/2014)
