English A series of fateful moments in Iain Softley's soft thriller: A broken Ford Bronco - offering a ride to a mechanic who showed off his abs - the end of idyll after a comment about the not-deep-enough throat for his jack - Ford Bronco edging towards a junkyard. And then we have over an hour until minus 127 hours, the psycho's rambling about determinism, and an action-packed ending where Mallory is as tough as a week-old bread. The only moment that slightly jolted me out of my lethargy was the snack of rat chunks on a spit. It’s a shame she didn’t wait until the water had drained. It could have tried Baldrick’s World War I trench specialties like rat stew and rat fricassée. A stew is when you take a freshly shaved rat and briefly marinate it in a puddle until it drowns. Then you spread it out under a hot light bulb, dash off to the latrine, and gobble it up. Fricassée is the same thing, just with a slightly bigger rat. ()

English You kind of get what you expect, but unfortunately nothing more. A woman believes a guy who's nice and gives him a ride. He turns out to be a jerk, so she takes over the driving. This leads to her getting stuck in the car with the idea of cutting off her leg. But it actually ends up being quite boring and very predictable, which is a great pity. ()
