War on Everyone follows corrupt cops Terry Monroe (Alexander Skarsgård) and Bob Bolano (Michael Peña) as they break the law for a living in New Mexico. Terry is an alcoholic who loves Glen Campbell, and Bob is a closet intellectual who loves his wife and kids. When Terry and Bob try to shake down strip-club manager Birdwell (Caleb Landry Jones), the crooked pair come up against criminal kingpin, James Mangan (Theo James). When things get very, very personal they realise it’s not just about the money anymore. Terry and Bob put everything on the line for the sake of an innocent, and shooting their way to rough justice could turn out to to be their unlikely redemption. (Icon Home Entertainment)

For a while, it appears to be a comedy that could be quite harsh, and indeed, there are scenes here that are definitely not politically correct. These scenes are fine. But then there is the rest of the story, which is definitely not as good. The direction is fairly clear, and focusing on a few good scenes isn't enough for greater success.

Pretty much about nothing. Michael Peña occasionally entertains with a decent joke, but I don't find Alexander Skarsgård funny at all. The plot is bland as hell. Not enough humour. 50%
