English Vola Roza may not be an excellent horror film, but it's a horror film that once again proves there's potential for making interesting horror movies even in Slavic countries. True, it feels heavily influenced by contemporary American, or perhaps British horror, but that's not a problem at all because the characters still act somewhat differently than expected. What you get is a somewhat lengthy but intriguing film that builds its main plot around the horror genre, but does so in a psychological and atmospheric manner. ()
