The plot is unfolding nicely, with both the villain and hero taking center stage. Olivia Colman, whom I loved in Broadchurch, also delivers a standout performance that deserves recognition.

Much more substantial. You can see le Carré's slow infiltration phase, where the hero slowly sinks into his "role". It's finally caught up with me.
