Catastrophe (2015)

English Season 1: Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters) and Rob Delaney have created their own comedy series about... well, a very ordinary couple, their ordinary lives and their ordinary daily woes. It's delightfully natural and human, doesn't play games, doesn't push the envelope and just "flows". The episodes are 25 minutes long, the two leads are excellent, their classic dry British humour is on full display in every episode and overall it's a typical feel-good series for a quick breather, to watch while cooking, eating breakfast or as a filler during the day. So, for those looking for that exact off switch, Catastrophe is the right choice. I'm satisfied and entertained enough, but after the first season I'll skip the next one and I’ll rather watch something more "meaningful". ()
