English Statistically speaking, in my opinion, the Romanian cinematography is currently the longest European cinematography, almost comparable to the lengths of the most classic Bollywood films. Sieranevada doesn't really have a reason to be called that way, but it will introduce you to the world of a Romanian family, which is messed up just like a classic Czech family or any other European family can be. It felt to me like when I watched another Romanian film Pororoca at the cinema back then. Interesting, cinematically long, drawn-out shots, it has its charm, but at times it gets quite boring. So, everything in one within a span of three hours. ()

English This amounts to three hours of confused looking around in an apartment of a few feet in size. A final catharsis is as helpless as life itself. Puiu's uncompromising method brought to a suffocating consistency. A film you have to endure to enjoy. ()
