For five episodes, I wondered when the creators would bring Frank Griffin to La Belle, and now I see they saved it for the finale. The flashbacks have been consistently engaging, and this episode was no exception, though the final flashback left me puzzled. Did the miners’ wives really walk them to work like that every day? Coming from a mining region myself, I’m pretty sure that’s not how it goes.
