The first episode pleasantly surprised me, especially because Elijah Wood's presence, which usually annoys me post-Frodo, didn't bother me here. The plot seems intriguing and funny, though nothing makes sense yet as new questions keep popping up with no answers in sight. But that's not a problem; I love Lynch's films and Twin Peaks, so I understand that not everything is as it seems.
