Battle in Outer Space

Thanks to the color and high-quality camera work, the film is incredibly visually appealing. Despite its age, it doesn't look bad, which is something many much newer films haven't achieved. The special effects sequences are excellent, and it doesn't matter at all that they sometimes use miniatures. Moreover, the depiction of the Moon's environment is beautifully done, not to mention the laser beams that genuinely seem to cut through the air. From Honda, it's something a bit different again, and I have to say that I really liked his take on sci-fi on the Moon with aliens, even though the aliens themselves aren't that impressive.
