Before checking out the Norwegian version of Cinderella, I made the mistake of watching The Christmas King and ended up thoroughly annoyed. This film just confirms that Norwegian cinema is full of extremes — either it's a hit, a miss, or a desperate attempt to mimic Hollywood blockbusters. Sadly, this one falls squarely into the "miss" category.
