Six - Série 2

After a very good first season, we finally got a new addition after a year. However, the second season didn't convince me as much; in many ways, I'd even say it's worse than its predecessor. The same cast is fine, and I could handle the CIA agent's role, although after a few episodes of her constant talking, it started to give me a headache, and I kept hoping she'd get less screen time in the next episode. I expected more intense action, but it was almost nonexistent, and the moments when there were explosions and shootouts looked very cheap, like something from a B-movie from the '90s. I appreciate the effort for a new story full of different twists, but the innovation got stuck in a traffic jam somewhere along the way; everything seemed to have been done before. The best scenes were undoubtedly with Michael, and the conflicts within the team between the commander and the Spanish amigo over tough decisions and their potential impacts on the team's fate also added realism to the series. I expected a slightly more grand finale, and knowing that this was the end of SIX, the ending somewhat frustrated me. I give it 67%. (08/07/2018)
