John Lennon (Philip McQuillan) was a young man growing up in Liverpool with big dreams. From his humble beginnings, he became one of the most important and influential figures of the twentieth century. This docu-drama traces the upbringing of young John, through his introduction to Paul McCartney (Daniel McGowan), his first wife and the birth of his son, and the explosion onto the scene of the World's Greatest Pop Band, The Beatles.
