English The second season of Trust Me definitely feels weaker, but it's still worth watching. Right off the bat, I had to adjust to the fact that Jodie Whittaker isn't the lead this time—it's Alfred Enoch. He plays a soldier who gets hit by shrapnel and wakes up paralyzed in a Victorian-era hospital in England, which really adds to the atmosphere. As you might guess, this season has no real connection to the first one, aside from the central theme of trusting caregivers, doctors, and nurses. But what happens when you lose that trust, just like Jamie (Enoch's character) does? The story unfolds over four episodes and has a solid premise, though I wish it had a more impactful conclusion. ()
