Trust Me - Série 2

Second series of the show Believe me is weaker, but still worth watching. Right from the beginning, I had to accept that the main role here is not played by the fantastic Jodie Whittaker, but by Alfred Enoch. He, as a soldier, gets hit by shrapnel and wakes up paralyzed in a hospital bed in England. It must be added that it is in a nice, Victorian hospital that adds to the atmosphere. And yes, you are guessing correctly, the second series has nothing in common with the first. It is more about the concept of believing in nurses, doctors, and hospital staff. But what happens when they fail to earn your trust, just like they failed with Jamie? The character played by Alfred Enoch here? The concept of four episodes started with a solid story idea, it's just a shame that it didn't have a better, more emphatic point. (01/24/2021)
