English If Terry Pratchett's books aren't your thing, then this series probably isn't either. It's advisable to delve into Pratchett's works before diving into this season, as familiarity with his style will enhance your appreciation. Fans of Discworld and Good Omens are sure to enjoy this series. My only gripe with this British series lies in its adherence to political correctness, which I found irksome. Despite that, I had a great time. / Lesson learned: Terry Pratchett is a guarantee of quality for me. ()

English The combination of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman is dynamite. These two different fantasy creators share one key trait: through the absurd in their stories, they extract the maximum amount of emotion, leaving you with a mind-blowing experience. Good Omens is no different. The plot twists the typical apocalypse narrative, doing everything it can to avoid telling the story in a standard way. Essentially, it does anything but that, and the only unstoppable force is the ticking clock to the end of the world. Enter two brilliant balance-keepers, played fantastically by Michael Sheen and David Tennant, who try their best to make sure things turn out okay. The absurdity reaches its peak here, with plenty of references to pop culture and historical events. You practically need to be a history buff to catch all the jokes, which I’m definitely not, yet I still enjoyed the six-episode series and marveled at the creativity of these two fantasy literature geniuses.
