Plots(1)
At Christmas, 1944, Soviet soldiers who have invaded Hungary drag all the young women of German origin away from a small village and send them to a Soviet labour camp to work in the coal mines. One of the women, Irén, meets Rajmund, who teaches her how to survive in the camp. Irén only thinks of how she can get back home until she and Rajmund fall in love. (Montreal World Film Festival)
