English Season 4 of You is a perfect example of how you can bury an incredibly promising series, one that in the previous three seasons gave conventional series a good kicking in the ass, kept a constant pace, suspense, very entertaining characters and a big dose of surprises, twists and cliffhangers. But with the start of the fourth season, everything changes and the original intention of You turns 180 degrees and goes in a diametrically different direction than it should and than we all expect and want. In the first half, Joe has taken to the Agatha Christie whodunits and solves murder mysteries, and in the second half, the whole thing goes to shit and ends in the worst, least engaging and most truncated way. Devoid of invention, devoid of fun, and in contrast to the dozens of hours of the series before it, this ending is like a punch in the gut that doesn't fit at all and feels like it was cut from a completely different thing. A sad, boring and degrading ending. It takes a hell of a lot of talent to leave such a bitter taste in the mouth after three seasons of the top series in recent years and ruin the efforts of the last five years... ()
