One of my favourite fairytales. Great actors in an untraditionally conceived story that never disappoints.

I never really watched this fairy tale when it was on TV, so I don't have much of a connection to it, but I had to watch it all the way through once. The icy scenery is simply beautiful and gives the movie its fairy-tale charm on its own. It's definitely not a fairy tale for everyone, and I think there will be a lot of people who won't like it very much. Personally, I'm among those who don't like it very much, but at the very least, the visual style is fantastic.
