English After the attack on Trump and Biden’s Covid, Homelander's electoral travails may seem petty to us, yet The Boys has hit the current political mood perfectly. Unfortunately, Kripke commissioned the scripts during the strike (I can't explain it any other way), and the quality of the early episodes looks accordingly. Weird dialogue, bumbling heroes, uninteresting subplots. The crappy line Frenchie, completely disconnected from everything and leading to nowhere, the downright annoying Mother's Milk acting like an asshole, and the relegated Billy, who they're probably saving for last. So it's up to Homelander and his bloodbath to save the day. Antony Starr is fantastic in the role and I'm looking forward to the final clash from the bottom of my heart. The fourth season was pretty much a bust though, except for the very last episode. ()

English This isn't a TV show, this is a world treasure. Definitely the most engaging, funniest and best thing to come out of cinema in the 21st century, because to hold that standard for four seasons and to excel in every aspect is simply beyond anything other than The Boys. I want a fifth season right now because I really can't wait for it. ()

English The Boys has managed to maintain the quality for the fourth time. Although there is no significant villain and Homelander is again carrying it (well, it's easily noticeable when he's not on the scene at all). The characters, however, are still interesting, and when it comes to the gore it's a really effective delight, and they've added quite a bit to the perversion, which I applaud. The flying sheep and chickens were the best, that was a really brilliant idea. The ending is shaping up to be pretty big stuff, the connection to Gen V will be nice and the finale of season 5 will be a properly epic slaughter with probably a lot of dead on both sides too. 8/10. English The two-year wait is over. The gang has landed on our screens with Season 4, now confirmed as the penultimate one. Overall, I’m satisfied, though there are a few shortcomings. First, let’s look at the positives. The characters have largely stayed the same, which I appreciate (yes, the absence of Soldier Boy was occasionally felt, but we’ll see what role he gets in Season 5). Homelander once again takes center stage (I’ve mentioned it several times... but Antony Starr is demonic, to say the least!). Butcher also surprised me with his development. His speeches to himself were entertaining... And that final massacre from him set the stage for the continuation. I’m really on edge about what they have planned for his character in the future... The action was solid again, and the juicy gore made a return. So, what would I criticize? To be honest, the main storyline didn’t progress much. It really felt like the creators were just setting the stage for a grand finale... which is a bit disappointing... But it’s still a quality show, without a doubt... I give it an 8/10. P.S. And now the long wait :( ()
