It's been a year of calm. Homelander's subdued. Butcher works for the government, supervised by Hughie of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy. English Yeah, uh, okay. Once you start apologizing too often, the characters start making confusing decisions too often and are too often given roles/abilities that are out of character or there are too many situations like "Gee, I have to get rid of him, but I can't because I’d end up getting rid of someone else, so I have to get rid of still another person...but I just can't", then you know you're starting to run around in circles, and by the end of Season 3 it's sad to say that we've gotten nowhere. The characters are severely underused, be it The Seven or even Soldier Boy himself, and I didn't enjoy any of them, quite the opposite. I fear that too much melodrama will lead to too many seasons. English This is just total pleasure for us fans of hard-hitting superhero series who are tired of today's declining Marvel. Because The Boys is an incredibly brutal ride full of perfect characters, bad guys, action, plot and just about everything. An unbeatable 3rd season and an absolutely flawless affair that I could watch for days. ()

English I really wanted to give it five stars, but it was missing just a little something. But let's start with the positives.... It seems to me that the creators want to shock the audience more and more with each new season. In the third season, we again get absolutely wild, but legendary scenes (shoutout to the whole of episode number 6 with the subtitle Herogasm). The acting is again top-notch; Butcher has raised the bar even higher because the whole plot revolving around the "V" hooked me like hardly anything else. Homelander is once again unbeatable; that guy was truly born for this role! Otherwise, with the arrival of Soldier Boy, it felt like the series was refreshed with new energy; Jensen Ackles nailed it like a top professional! On the action front, the series once again went off the rails, with top-notch gore and pleasantly over-the-top brutality :D So why not a full score? Honestly, I was expecting a bolder ride with the killing off of main characters (everything was pointing in that direction). It seemed to me that Kripke and Goldberg just opened the figurative gate to the upcoming fourth season. What a pity. Even so, it's a show that leaves recent Marvel productions in the dust. 8.5/10 ()

English When you think about it, The Boys is the last purely comic book series to maintain its brutality while achieving mainstream success. And despite the extreme violence, it observes LGBT+Q standards, be it the homosexual Ant-Man sneezing on somebody’s dick or the heroic Maeve, fighting against the evil white man. Even so, these excesses don’t come across cheap and are wrapped in an intelligent story that makes sense and holds up a mirror and mainly it’s peppered with quality one-liners. The unexpected ace of the series is Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. The variation on Captain America turns into an unexpectedly complex character in the end and his scenes are some of the best of the movie. The ending is slightly cheap, but doesn’t spoil the overall good impression the series gives. So far, the best show this year. ()

English I'd be lying if I said I was happy with this season. The second half started to feel like the creators were stretching things out, sacrificing quality for quantity (and perhaps setting up for yet another season?). They started contradicting their own ideas from earlier episodes, and it felt like the series was chasing its own tail. For me, it's a bit of a letdown and a weaker four stars. / Lesson learned: Too much of a good thing is bad for you. 4*- ()
