English A war drama set in the trenches, focusing on a bunch of guys who think they’re saving the world, but end up facing the consequences. Thankfully, it's short enough to be tolerable, because the storyline is more suited for a 20-minute episode, not a full-length feature. In the end, it serves as a grim reminder of the kind of people the U.S. military sometimes recruits — folks who, with their mindset, probably wouldn’t even make it as delivery drivers elsewhere. ()

English I was under the impression that Dan Krauss liked Casualties of War, so he figured he would remake and update it by transferring the story among the jihadists. Well, the director may have fulfilled his dream, but it was kind of a Potemkin Village - the film looked like a profound psychological drama on the outside, but behind the elaborate façade I found only a failed attempt at something deep. Apart from boredom, it didn’t stir any emotions in me. ()
