English A serene (naive) old-fashioned crime movie with well-acted characters and perfect action. Berg and WahlBerg quickly put together this Boston-style Jack Reacher for Netflix and with great verve. Although the shaky screenplay is a little disappointing, Spenser gives us a generous portion of good mood. ()

English A buddy movie from a director who lived it. Berg is otherwise a class better action filmmaker and has more dynamism in most of his films. It strikes me as very similar to when Michael Bay stopped doing what he could do and started experimenting with stuff like Pain and Gain. The funniest is Pearl and the foul mouthed Iliza Shlesinger. English Pretty decent police crime drama, but the whole film feels like hand down, Peter Berg can definitely make better films. Mark Wahlberg is as solid as ever, there’s some occasional humour and the action scene in the restaurant is fine, but unfortunately the film is primarily a drama rather than action or thriller, but entertaining enough not to get boring. Action**, Story***, Violence>No, Humor ***, Entertainment ***. 6/10 ()

English I expected an average buddy comedy and in the end I was truly satisfied. Strange as it may sound, Mark Wahlberg and Winston Duke are a good fit. In addition, it features the legendary Alan Arkin and is pleasantly face-paced. It contains just the right amount of humor and action, which some may find too scarce, but it worked for me as a whole. Such films are rare today. Of course it could be compared to older, now legendary pieces, but why would I do it when I enjoyed it just the way it is? ()

English I expected a top-notch action film from the Berg-Wahlberg duo, but I wisely lowered my expectations after checking out the audience reactions. And in the end, that turned out to be a good move. Maybe it would have been better received by a broader audience if it had been made about twenty-five years ago. Nowadays, buddy comedies are quite rare. Former cop Wahlberg and the "nice giant" Duke start tackling police corruption in the streets of Boston. On paper, it sounds pretty dumb, and the main plot and its outcome are pretty predictable. But that's not the point here. When I think about the dialogues, they're nearly flawless. The chemistry between the main duo gradually built up, and the film really managed to squeeze the maximum potential out of the lead actors. I was surprised by how many jokes actually hit the mark. However, to be honest, there were also some slight disappointments, especially when Wahlberg's ex started going overboard on the screen. Her attempts at humor rarely hit the mark. The ending with the truck was amusing, as was the possibility of a sequel. Why not, right? For me, it's a solid 76%. ()
