Plots(1)

A fresh batch of teenage camp counselors return to the ill-fated Camp Crystal Lake five years after its most recent atrocities. Since the apparent perpetrator of those crimes was decapitated by the only survivor, the plucky teens ignorantly go about the business of reviving the camp, unaware that they are being stalked by an unseen figure who lives in the woods, waiting for the right opportunity to take bloody revenge. English The teenagers are boring, there’s no atmosphere, and the killing scenes have no new ideas. Jason hasn't been paying attention in class, and he misses a lot of things in practice. Sterile boredom. ()

English I'm wondering if it's better when the authors try doing the same thing, just with different actors, or if it's more appropriate when they attempt to develop some sort of mythology. The film Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers would refer more to the first option because when you get the mythology wrong, it turns out awful. But Friday the 13th Part 2 doesn't bring much new to the table, and you're really just watching the first one again, only with different characters. ()
