Doctor Foster is a front-row seat to the breakdown of a marriage after the husband’s affair, and I was completely hooked for all five hours. With Suranne Jones, who was a total revelation to me, the Brits crafted a perfect portrayal of a woman’s emotional unraveling when she finds out her husband is cheating. I was on the edge of my seat week after week, something that hasn’t happened to me in a long time. The rainy British backdrop, the sea, the moody atmosphere—it all just worked for me. Dr. Foster herself is such a compelling character, and you can't help but root for her. And that finale? An emotional gut punch in real-time. I’m curious (and a bit wary) about what they’ll do in the second season—it feels like the story could’ve ended here, but we’ll see!
