Anthony Jeselnik: Fire in the Maternity Ward

Hmm, today I discovered another stand-up comedian whose style clearly suits me. Anthony Jeselnik did not enter the stage with powerful sound and visual effects, moreover he ended his special in the same calm spirit in which his performance had been running the whole time and I was greatly intrigued by it. That slow and calm style, which accompanied his mostly dark humor delivery, quickly won me over and I had a great time throughout. Yeah, yeah, this was not a wasted hour. / Lesson: If someone is offended by inappropriate humor, why do they attend stand-up performances? (07/01/2024)
