Plots(1)
Since befriending the Unas known as Chaka (episode The First Ones), Daniel had placed surveillance cameras on the Unas planet so that he could study the ways of these aliens. In the SGC Briefing Room, Daniel shows General Hammond and the rest of his team some disturbing new footage: men with Goa'uld weapons have captured Chaka and have taken him by force to another world. In the hopes of finding out what happened to Chaka, SG-1 travels to this planet to find a pre-industrial civilization that uses captive Unas as slaves. The town's leading slave trader, Burrock, is a cruel man who would happily kill an Unas just to make a point. When Daniel asks that Chaka be returned to him, Burrock flatly refuses. Daniel then decides that he must help Chaka escape from slavery. But, in the process, not only does Daniel put SG-1 in danger, but he threatens to upset the slave system that has existed on this world for generations. (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM))
