English I have to give it to China—they managed to pull off a fairly solid blockbuster. But, much like typical Hollywood blockbusters, this one often feels a bit over the top. There’s so much CGI that it seems like the filmmakers spent more time on that than on the actual storytelling. The visuals are sometimes intentionally blurry, which doesn’t exactly add to the "wow" factor. That said, the premise is fantastic. I was hooked from the start, curious to see where the story would go. But as the movie went on, it started to drag a bit, mainly because the script seemed to toy with the audience too much. Plus, the film is packed with emotional moments, almost to the point of overload, with something shocking happening every five minutes. You can make a great blockbuster, but without that touch of uniqueness, it risks blending in with the rest. While Super Me doesn’t completely escape that fate, it’s still far from a waste of time. English An excellent original and entertaining concept about an unsuccessful screenwriter who gains the ability to take various valuables and items from his own dreams, really cool. The protagonist is likeable, the pace is entertaining, and there are even a few plot surprises. The dream sequences are somewhat disappointing, the villains have CGI cloud around them, which personally I don't like, and China seems to really enjoy it. For a higher rating, I missed either a more prominent sense of humor or more interesting action, but I definitely don't regret watching it, the concept is really great. 6/10 ()
