Point Blank

Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo in another mediocre action flick about corruption in the police. It's generically mediocre, it's a bit silly and very straightforward, but, unlike other genre flicks, it didn't bore me, even entertained me at times, and I didn't feel a compulsive need to turn it off. I just feel a sense of wasted time because Frank Grillo is a favourite of mine and a damn charismatic and likeable actor and it's a shame to drown in pointless action B-movies instead of finally getting to shine in an A-list Hollywood flick. A totally common buddy comedy the good point of which arethe two main characters, who are quite witty. But due to my lack of any previous relationship to them, it is just and only a quite good chill-out time. Nothing more, nothing less. (12/31/2019)
