English Poirot is absolutely perfect at the ball, especially in the way he's the only one without a costume, even though he says something different. He fits in perfectly. The story is intertwined with radio broadcasting, which is also where the murderer is eventually exposed. It’s a truly great approach, and the whole detective story gains something extra because of it. ()
