Poirot is asked to spend Christmas with Simeon Lee at his Gorston Hall home. Lee has received six diamonds from his museum in South Africa and believes that his life is in danger. As an unexpected guest among Lee's family members, Poirot is soon on hand when Lee is found lying in a pool of blood. His throat has been cut and the diamonds stolen. (iTunes)

Another great episode, showing that the longer runtime of the series suits it quite well, as it allows for a more complex and interesting unfolding of the whole game. Here, once again, anyone can be the killer, and the individual clues are beautifully interspersed throughout. And yes, I was delighted to discover the killer before he was discovered by Poirot.
