It's certainly one of the best Poirot stories, perhaps because this is where Poirot and Hastings begin their time together. It's great in the beginning until Poirot is gone, but once the murder happens and he shows up on the scene, it's just great. You enjoy his charisma, but also how he manages to solve the case in the end. It’s beautifully tangled, where you really don't know until the last moment.
