Plots(1)
Poirot takes a holiday at a stylish Devon hotel, only to find himself in the middle of another mystery when a guest is found murdered. Suspicion falls on the victim's husband and several other guests, and Poirot is forced to use all his powers of observation and human insight in order to solve the complex case. (iTunes)

Solid and conservative work on the part of the director, a traditional concert by Suchet and a rather toiling, but all the better gradating plot in terms of the script. By the way, an episode that clearly illustrates that the power of a detective (as well as the power of a psychoanalyst) begins only when the order is irreversibly disturbed (until then, he is only a passive "evil-Precog" with no possibility to intervene). I enjoy these longer episodes. You can't even really tell that it was filmed after the year 2000. Hercule Poirot is still funny, plus you can see that his character has evolved. That's very good. Moreover, this case is wonderfully tangled, which is evident even in the final resolution, which is very inventive. An excellent episode. ()
