Plots(1)

Full, crescent, quarter...each is a Bad Moon for Ted Harrison. By day, he's a photojournalist visiting family in the Pacific Northwest. By night, he transfigures into a horrific half-human -- a werewolf. Dead men tell no tales, so Ted's sure he alone knows about his vile double life. The secret, however, may be out. The family dog Thor, devoted to defending the household, has his suspicions. (official distributor synopsis)

English Hot sex in a tent, in a camper trailer, and searching at night for someone to tear apart... A parental horror film where, just like in the book, the main role is played by a German Shepherd named Thor, and there's a primal contest to see who can mark their territory more assertively (in other words, if Michael Paré will urinate on the kennel). While the practical effects are relatively fine, the digital ones require a certain amount of tolerance, as does the eight shots from a six-shooter revolver, or the high consumption of white running sneakers. Is there any character psychology? Just in hints as subtle as a werewolf's pubic hair. The scare factor is missing, but I was guilty of having some fun. ()

English A werewolf film that has a relatively normal plot but tries to deliver what a werewolf movie should - tension and the transformation into a werewolf. Both are here and neither is perfect, but the film is definitely good. The tension is maintained basically until the end, although the viewer already knows anyway. And the transformation is also not bad at all, especially since it's done with classic effects. ()
