The second installment, while ultimately weaker, still leaves me with mostly positive feelings. The atmosphere-building to the point of chilling remains a crucial element here. However, the plot itself didn’t captivate me as much as the story about Edgar; it felt rather straightforward and less thought-out. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that Hayley Atwell’s convincingly emotional performance reinforced my belief that a solid 70% is still warranted.
