The inspiration for this "visualisation of sound through darkness" may be found in Stanislav Dvorsky's oppressive existential text. Ježek based his work on the premise that the most relevant images are those which exist in our imagination. The entire film Play for the Corral is built on the concept of a black void, flashes of light within the darkness of the auditorium – the viewers are primarily in the dark, surrounded by sound.
