English One definite disappointment. While the first part of Christmas Chronicles was an extremely pleasant surprise, both in the form of a nice Christmas story and the great Russell - Hawn duo, the second part is purely a children's matter. And all the more surprising that I'm saying this when the movie was directed by Chris Columbus. However, it's interesting that although I felt certain moments from both Harry Potters and the legendary Home Alone in the movie, it just doesn't work here. It's all so childishly crazy that I was looking forward to the end. ()

English This is different from the first chronicle, aimed at a kids’ audience, but of a length more suitable for adults. I found these two aspects rubbed me up the wrong way, as did the main baddie whose character was a little too one-dimensional. But this is made up for by Mr and Mrs Claus. The scenes where they appear are entertaining and there’s excellent chemistry between them. They are simply great actors. But this just an average, but cute Christmas comedy that will brighten your evening. ()
