A formal experiment where confrontational dialogues occur in a confined setting as a search is underway for a murderer among artistic drunks and intellectual parasites, with motives ranging from classic jealousy to increasing creative capital. The film has a monstrously impressive cast and occasionally loses its tempo. If Inspector Columbo was there, he would thoroughly enjoy it, including the reconstruction.
